What Is SCADA Systems? 

The SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) system is a collection of software-based applications that have been designed to provide an integrated package of monitoring/control and automating of industrial processes in real-time. It collects data from a variety of sensors, devices and machines, which can then be monitored and controlled from one central point; providing an efficient way to manage multiple locations with distributed resources such as those found in factories and manufacturing facilities, and utilities and energy grids.
